Milton Keynes Film Festival 2012

Next year ICMK will be coordinating the first city-wide film festival. Through a rich programme of cinema events over the summer we will build momentum for a 5- day festival. Vagabond Cinema

Synopsis:
The videoforms part of a steadily growing DVD package surrounding "Toad in a Hole; The Environmental Pop Video" by Tingle Factory, made a couple of years previously.



This package parodies the feature film DVD package format, while "Bloopers.." itself also parodies TV bloopers shows, but in a sideways manner.

Synopsis:

A short film exploring the symbiotic relationship between the concepts of life and death and good and evil. Using traditional imagery, the film shows the relationship between the two ideas with simple mirroring of dialogue, but delivery and mise-en-scene reveal the fundamental differences.

This is a film of two halves, a film of contrasts and transformations. Colour competes with black and white. Crisp, crawling patterns contrast with an engulfing cloud of smoke. Through inspiration and determination the free spirit is released from entrapment.
